- Notes
- Major Differences Between U.S. Autonet and Telenet Access
- 1. Because Telenet provides local echoing of characters, your
- terminal and coupler must both be in FULL-DUPLEX mode and
- $$FULL must be OFF. If you type ahead of the prompts, the in-
- put data may be echoed immediately and may appear inter-
- spersed among the output data. Contact your Autonet Sales
- Specialist for more details.
- 2. The response to a "Break" character may be delayed up to two
- (2) or three (3) lines while Telenet outputs data from its
- buffers.
- 3. If a carriage return (<CR>) is input followed by a commercial
- "at" sign (@) and another carriage return (<CR>), you will
- automatically revert to Telenet's Command Language and
- receive a commercial "at" sign (@) and another carriage
- return (<CR>) prompt. To return to ADP Autonet, simply type
- CONTINUE, followed by a carriage return <CR>.
